Primary Role Work closely with the VP of Global Services to oversee client related activities while ensuring their satisfaction. Work closely with account team as an extension of our clients’ trade compliance organization to ensure the work is done per our clients’ established policies and procedures. Serve as the single point of contact for the client while ensuring that the daily work is completed in a timely manner, including working in the queue and helping the team with daily screening and other activities.

Functional Requirements and Specific Responsibilities
Responsible for customer related activities and ensuring client satisfaction.
Ensure the account team is delivering to the agreed upon service level and ensure client satisfaction.
Must organize, prioritize, and manage work in a dynamic and complex environment to meet deadlines and daily requirements, independent of supervision.
Responsible for immediately reporting any account concerns and issues.
Must communicate professionally, clearly, concisely and effectively, both orally and in writing.
Must adapt to changing priorities while meeting deadlines and managing workload.
Must be qualified to perform all day-to-day account activities independent of supervision.
Participate in recruiting, hiring, firing, and mentoring of account team members.
Responsible for on-boarding and training of team members.
Ensure the optimal and efficient allocation of resources to maximize profitability.
Responsible for auditing account team’s work and ensure proper quality controls are in place and followed.
Develop, implement and manage processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Identify new opportunities to provide value to clients.
Manage a global team to ensure proper staffing and delivery in each country is done in accordance with the client requirements.
Create and publish transaction volume reports and all other reports required by client and/or the VP of Global Services.
Responsible for communicating and upholding all client and Vigilant policy and procedures.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree required in Business, International Business or related field.
Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 - 7 years experience in a corporate business environment.
Strong understanding and experience in Import Compliance and AES/EEI Filings
Highly Proficient with the various Restricted Parties and Sanction Programs, including but not limited to Beneficial Ownership, MEU, Semiconductor rules, Russia and China restrictions
Experience with SAP GTS
Attention to detail skills is required.
Excellent analytical skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
Excellent organizational skills.
Highly Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and written, effectively with clients, coworkers and senior leadership.
